Claire - Claire has always loved designing and decorating cakes. She began early in life creating miniature Fimo banquets for her Sylvanian families and serving mud-pie afternoon teas to her family in the garden. From a remote control motorised F1 racing car cake to a 5 tier wedding cake with a cascade of sugar flowers, she relishes any cake-related challenge. Claire studied Fine Art in Brighton and loves the creative process of designing a cake. Her cakes begin life in her sketchbooks which are full of colour swatches, patterns, drawings and inspirations. Her love of photography goes hand-in hand with her cakes and she can often been seen snapping away on her camera as Liggy whisks a master piece out the door!

Sophia - The newest member of the team Sophia has brought her unfaltering eye for perfection and flair for design that keep our cakes truly unique and gorgeous.

Keith -Keith began his apprenticeship in 1991 with Taylors Bakery where he fast learnt the techniques and skills that he uses to bake our delicious cakes and cupcakes. During the past 20 years Keith has worked for companies such as Patisseree Joldo where he was head baker before moving on to the Sicilian Pastry shop, Eskside Bakery and Pateiserry UK and finally Manna House, Edinburgh before coming to work at Liggy’s Cakes. Keith says the best thing about working for Liggy’s Cakes is seeing the finished article – it’s a lot of teamwork, and the worst thing is the early starts!
